Greetings!
We are excited to announce our new site www.11thStepMeditation.org. This is the beginning of a wonderful journey of discovery, learning, growing and experiencing for you and for us. The 11thStepMeditation.org site is a work in progress offered to help you:
- Learn about the variety of paths that you can take in learning meditation.
- Discover a type of meditation that fits in with your concept of Higher Power.
- Offer tools and resources to assist you to begin meditation, or to expand your current meditation practices.
- Experience other people sharing their meditation experience, strength and hope with another.
This is an effort to share meditation experiences with others in recovery with the hope of expanding the awareness and practice of meditation in the world of recovery. We invite you to join in, use the site, refer others to us and let us know how we can grow the site to better serve you!

Learn to meditate at a meeting
You don't have to try to learn meditation on your own. Many areas now have specific 11th Step Meditation meetings through the various 12 Step program meeting schedules.
We are providing a listing of 11th Step meetings all over the U.S. Please visit the listings to find a meeting near you. If you know of an 11th Step Meditation Meeting that is not listed, please submit the meeting information through the form online.
If you are interested in learning how to start a meeting we have a free article on how to set-up an 11th Step Meditation meeting or how to lead meditation groups in treatment centers, recovery homes or in jails.
Group Meditations are a wonderful way to learn and experience meditation and to meet others that are more experienced and learn from them.
