Want an easy way to make a positive impact for our community? How about three?  Read on to see how some simple actions on your part can make a huge difference for Nashua-area individuals and families in need through United Way's Corporate Challenge.

To help launch United Way of Greater Nashua's 2012-13 fundraising campaign, BAE Systems has pledged to give up to $10,000 through a challenge that will match donations dollar for dollar now until the campaign kick-off on Day of Caring, September 11th.

Whether you choose to make a one-time gift or a recurring monthly donation, you will be part of United Way's effort to preserve our community's safety net and advance the common good. United Way funds proven programs that meet the greatest needs identified in our community assessment.

In addition to the dollar-for-dollar match, BAE Systems will donate $5 for every new Like of United Way of Greater Nashua's Facebook page, and $10 for each post about how United Way's Facebook fans LIVE UNITED (see details in right column).

 

For every new "Like" we get on Facebook, BAE Systems will give $5.  "Liking" our page also shows your friends that you support United Way, and keeps you updated about our community work and how to get involved.

If just five of your friends also Like United Way of Greater Nashua's Facebook page and post how they LIVE UNITED, your combined effort will help prevent a child from going to bed hungry for a month.
Get nine of your friends to duplicate your efforts, and you will support a senior citizen's ability to live independently through home delivery of 22 nutritious meals.
