Teenage tax whiz helps local workers keep more of what they earn Alvirne HS senior and volunteer tax preparer George Bower, IV, with United Way VP Ray Peterson and Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau Alvirne High School senior George Bower, IV, isn't your average 18-year-old, and people who rely on the Greater Nashua Asset Building Coalition's free tax preparation program are glad that he chose to volunteer his Saturdays to helping them this winter. Read the full article... Helping girls stay fed, ready to learn United Way recently toured the newly renovated kitchen at Girls Inc. in Nashua. UWGN support provides 8,700 meals annually to girls who attend the Nashua facility. Check out more photos on our blog.	SAVE THE DATE: Wed., May 30th Plan now to join us at the Nashua Country Club on May 30 for our revamped annual community celebration, "An Evening at the United Common." Come for a fun night of socializing and to honor United Way supporters and volunteers who help bring unity to our community. The event will be held from 5:30 to 8 PM and will feature food, entertainment, networking, and awards -- all in a comfortable park-like setting inside the venue's ballroom.
