February is a month of LOVE.
The crush we all have in common is for the beloved
hoop. It brings us laughs, new friends, healthier bodies
and peaceful minds. Be the best Valentine ever, share
the hooplove with someone you know, or don't know yet.

Wow, we've had an incredible winter so far.
The 3 degree weather and endless snowstorms haven't
phased us in the least bit.
HooperPower is overflowing with gratitude for the
support from the City of Chicago, we're energized with
inspiration from the recent Hoop Path workshops and
we're excited about sharing hooping with all the new and
existing class students.
We were invited by the City of Chicago to participate in
the Opening weekend for the Museum of Modern Ice
in Millennium Park. We got to play with hundreds of
tourists and Chicagoans of all ages for 7 hours this
past weekend! What a blast. Thank you to all my
HooperPower helpers: Elizabeth, Marta, Noah, Claire,
Corinne and Alex and thank you to Lauren and Eva
from Millennium Park events for having us. Great times
everyone.

deserves in the news lately! HooperPower has been
featured in this months Chicago Magazine and we had
many great mentions in publications like TimeOut,
Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Reader for our
Museum of Modern Ice event. Keep spreading the word!

February Classes

Intro to Hoopdance:
This class is your introduction to hoopdance. You will
become aquainted with basic hoop movesusing large,
colorful, weighted hoops and by the end of the hour,
you will be thinking of the hoop and yourself in a
whole new way. This class is a terrific opportunity to
test drive a hoopdance class to see if you'd like to take
hoopdance further.
