HooperPower "HooperCamps" are hoopdance gatherings in Chicago parks. Bring friends and family for this donation-only "playdate". Donations go to organizations including Treehouse Animal Foundation and Chicago Foundation for Women. Hoops will be available for use, but it is encouraged that if you have one that you bring it with you.

"Intro to Hoopdance": Perfect for commitment-phobes.

"Intro to Hoopdance" gets people aquainted with basic hoop moves and also gets them thinking about the hoop and themselves in a whole new way. "Intro to Hoopdance" is a terrific opportunity to test-drive Hoopdance classes to see if you want to go further...and you will (wink).

HP: What do you like most about hooping?

NT: the similarity to skateboarding and snowboarding in that it's a trick-oriented activity.

HP: How do you feel about men and hooping?

NT: They're not mutually exclusive.

HP: What music are you listening to these days while hooping?

NT: Mickey Avalon and Van Halen

HP: Where is your favorite place to hoop?

NT: Outside.

HP: What does "HooperPower" mean to you?

NT: Hooping is something that alot of people think they "can't" do, but "HooperPower" is something everybody has in them because everybody "can" hoop. Everyone has their own style...

HooperPower has been asked by the City of Chicago to share hoopdancing with the people by participating in two major summer events.

HooperPower will be donating hoops and collecting funds for WHD hoop donations for children and adults who can't afford these simple and fun tools for health. That's what World Hoop Day is all about. Getting as many people as possible having fun and being healthy...hooping at the same time on the same day all over the world.
