There is so much to be thankful for at Latinos Progresando: we saw more than 300 people come together to support LP's work at the Tomorrow's Heroes Today event; we reviewed a record number of applications for our Dr. Angela Perez Miller Scholarship Fund; and will see Maria Morales, Guadalupe Urbina, Ana Mercado, Ernestina Perez, Erick Martinez, Gabriela Martinez and Jose A. Manzo--this year's scholarship winners--go on to study at IIT, University of Illinois Chicago and Northeastern University. |
An especially warm thank you goes out to Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz, who not only sponsored the event, but also pledged an additional $5,000 to the scholarship fund.
