UIC Forum, 725 Roosevelt Rd., Chicago, IL

Heart disease is still the No. 1 killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year. This means women just like you - mothers, sisters, friends - are dying at the rate of one per minute because they don't know what you know: heart disease kills. But it can be prevented.

Sisters. Girlfriends. Colleagues.
You share everything from recipes and work/life tips to deep and emotional moments with the women in your life. Make sure you share how much you want them to live by passing on some lifesaving knowledge.

What to Expect

  • FREE heart-health screenings, including tests for blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol and blood sugar.
  • Town hall-style question and answer sessions in English and in Spanish, featuring physicians and other health care professionals from throughout the Chicago land area
