Teatro Americano: Changing the Face of Leadership
While LP's Teatro Americano
has made a name for itself in the Little Village, Pilsen and Back of the Yards communities for its hard-hitting original plays about the Latino experience in Chicago, the lesser known stories are

Congratulations to Edgar Pineda & Zulema Ortiz!
Both Edgar and Zulema were awarded the Harrison Fellowship at National Louis University, an honor given to students who show exceptional promise as community leaders. Edgar, LP's Marketing Director, is studying Business Administration, and Zulema, the former co-Artistic Director of LP's Teatro Americano and long-time Teatro Americano participant, is studying Elementary Education. We are so proud of them for taking this important step in their own education, and wish them the best of luck! |
