Con Raices Sin Papeles October Tour Overview

Teatro Americano ended its October tour with a performance in the Back of the Yards community to a crowd of over 150 audience members! A very special thank you to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and all of our partner organizations for making 'Con Raices, Sin Papeles' a huge success!

Teatro Americano partners with Chicago Commons in Back of the Yards !

On November 2nd Teatro Americano kicked off its partnership with Chicago Commons in Back of the Yards with a guest appearance by comedian legend Mikey O , of the Mikey O Comedy Show!

Mikey O gave our youth a crash course on how the business works, how to write a joke, and how to create a play on words. He emphasized keeping your jokes clean, working hard, and the importance of maintaining integrity in order to make it in the entertainment business. Thank you being such a great role model for our youth!

Jeniffer Idrovo "Teacher For A Day" at Orozco Elementary
