Join Latinos Progresando and others concerned with the rights of immigrants in the third annual march for just immigration policy !
Meet at 12:00 noon at Union Park
(Corner of Ashland and Lake)
March leaves Union Park at 1:0opm.

For those of you who will not be in Chicago, there are also marches in other cities on May 1st:
Boston: Starts at 1:30pm in East Boston and Everest, ending in Chelsea.
Detroit: Starts at 10 am at Patton Park and ends at Clark Park
Hempstead, NY: Starts at 11:30 am at the corner of Front and Franklin Streets
Houston: Starts at 2pm in front of the Mickey Leland Federal Building at 1919 Smith Street, and ends at Antioch Park at 1400 Smith Street
Los Angeles: Starts at Olympic and Broadway Streets, ends near Los Angeles City Hall
San Jose, CA: Starts at 4pm at the corner of King Road and Story Road (parking lot of Mi Pueblo Foods), and ends at San Jose City Hall

Chicago Dia de Los Niños 3K Walk/Run

Location: Registration at Chicago Community Bank Parking Lot:
1800 South Halsted
Chicago, IL 60608
Cost: Registration Fee
$10.00 Elementary Students (under 12 years of age)
$15.00 High-School Students (13-17 years of age)
$20.00 Adults (18 years of age and older)
The race will begin at 16th and Halsted. Runners/Walkers will run/walk west on 16th street to 17th
and Damen. Ending at Orozco Community Academy Parking Lot. Prizes will
be awarded to the top male and female runners. Proceeds from the run
will go towards a scholarship for current high school seniors to assist
in attending the postsecondary institution of their choice.
