Legislative Advocacy
LP Meets with Congressman Gutierrez's Office

Gutierrez Group

Representatives from Latinos Progresando visited the district offfice of Congressman Luis Gutierrez (4th Congressional District) last Tuesday to engage in a dialogue about policy issues affecting our communities including the continued importance of the DREAM Act. The eleven members of our group included members of the College-Bound Youth Group and Teatro Americano, along with Legal Services and Advocacy program staff. We share Congressman's Gutierrez's commitment to comprehensive immigration reform, and urge legislators to continue to fight for a policy agenda that will help us keep our families together!

Stay tuned as Latinos Progresando meets with more policymakers in the months ahead as a part of our amplified efforts to make sure that immigrant voices are heard on the national stage.
