HAPPY THANKSGIVING

The Las Lomitas Education Foundation would like to wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving.  We are thankful for living in a district that provides a great education to our children.  But most of all, we are thankful for your generosity. We have raised $1.3 million to date.  We are well on our way to reaching our fundraising goal of $2.8 million, but we need your support now!

If you have not yet donated, please give now by clicking on http://www.llef.org/_donate/paypal_donate.html and join the growing list of Foundation supporters by the end of November.

LET'S DO IT AGAIN!!!

Holiday Workshop

Holiday Workshop needs your help!

Bring your paper shopping bags (with handles) to the office for the Holiday Workshop.  The kids use these to bring home all the beautiful projects they will be making that day.  We need around 685 this year!  Keep them coming!

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found will be donated Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.

Art Notecards

Packaged Notecards Are Going Home!

The Art Notecard project was once again a big success! Teachers will receive mini-grants for art enrichment from our proceeds. Thank you for supporting the arts at Las Lomitas and thanks to our budding artists for creating such remarkable works of art!

Special thanks to all our volunteers who helped with the drawing sessions in the classrooms, tallying orders, and packaging the notecards. We would also like to thank former district parents, Kris Bobier and Tom Coates, for their stupendous support and contributions to this project. We couldn't have done it without you! Much appreciation, as always, to Beverley and Carol for all their assistance in the office (especially when all the notecards were delivered!). And finally, extra special thanks to our wonderful classroom coordinators Maria Lind (3rd), Jane Worden (2nd), Sook Jung (1st) and Wendy Wall (K) for their time and effort organizing all the volunteers.

This year our printing was done by American Printing in Menlo Park.

Questions? Please contact Sook Jung (sook_cho@yahoo.com), Jane Worden
