May 2007
Issue: 2
Hello Shoe Lovers!

Welcome to May & Happy Spring!  We have so much happening in the store this month, I can hardly contain myself!  Girls Night Out in Fairhaven is coming up on Thursday (more info below).  You have to stop by that night and get your photo taken in the Dream Shoe Closet.  We have our Anniversary Sale May 18-20th.  And the BIG news...THE OH! SHOES ARE COMING, THE OH! SHOES ARE COMING! They should be here anytime.  These are the Sexy Healthy Heels. The heels are 3" and above and they say you can wear them all day and your FEET DON"T HURT! We plan on having a trunk show with them in June.  I can't wait to get myself a pair (and neither can my husband).  Krista has already tried them out and she LOVES them!

If you didn't make it to the Earth Trunk Show last month, you missed out.  We had the mayor of Bellingham and congressman Rick Larsen stop by that day.  It was fun to give them a piece of my mind.  I tried hard to get us all lower cost healthcare coverage - we will see what kind of pull I have.  Enjoy the photos below!

Have a fantastic May and we hope to see you all soon!

Spotlight on Shoes
Morenatom
Morenatom May
Morenatom ("more-in-a-tom")  is a great brand to highlight this month since we are raising funds for Breast Cancer Research during the Girls' Night Out event this week.  The designer for Morenatom is a breast cancer survivor.  She is an amazing woman.  Krista & I both met her at one of the past shoe shows.  When she told us her story, I had tears in my eyes.

This is a fun brand, lots of color and very unique.  If you look at the shoe linings of the older styles you can see the designers story about her struggle with breast cancer in the images.

Morenatom shoes are made in Brazil.  And their tagline is fantastic!  Morenatom...a celebration on the avenue of life!
