WPC2012Azox has team members on hand at Microsoft's annual Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto. Some of the big announcements from Microsof include confirmation of the next Windows OS, Windows 8, to be released in October.

 

Windows 8 Set for October Release  

The newest operating system from Microsoft will be available in October of this year. The new Metro UI will be available allowing for easier touch based navigation with tablets, as well as the traditional desktop that everyone is used to.

 

Windows Server 2012 in September      

Come September, the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2 will be available for general availability and will use a similar Metro UI like that of Windows 8.
