SOLO:  July 4th event and fundraiser Solo for Nicholas was a huge success.  Here is a thank you note from Tom Sotiropoulos. 

 

"Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped put on the event and all the participants for coming out on the holiday and spending time with us.  A special thanks to Jan, John, Carla, Lynn, Lee, and everyone else who worked so hard to put this together.  I thought the day was great, from the weather to the course ( especially since we lost a big section of the lot to the concrete barriers ), to the great people who were there.  Thanks also to all the kind people who donated items for the auction, Scca, PDX, Kyle Langley, Build-a-Bear, Ridemakerz,and Gateway International Raceway.  (Jan, please correct me if I missed anyone.)  I would also like to thank all of you who donated money and talent to this charitable event, rest assured that it will be going to a wonderful group of people who provide aid and comfort to children in the St. Louis area and their families.  Friends Of Kids With Cancer was an invaluable help to my family and to many others like us.  We should be proud that such a great organization exists in St. Louis.

 

I hope that everyone had as good a time as I did at the event, hopefully we can do something like this again.
