December's TJX Outstanding Volunteer Award Recipient: Kyle Moy |
Since beginning to volunteer for the Red Oak After School program in August of 2010, Kyle has served an integral role. Kyle has been working in a group with students in grades 2, 3, and 4. Because of this wide disparity in ages, it is essential that the Group Leaders have an extra helping hand in order to provide differentiated, intentional instruction. Kyle has helped this group run smoothly by assisting twice a week for approximately 6 hours per week. Not only does he work at a high level as a volunteer, but he is professional and dependable. Kyle is also son of former BCNC executive director David Moy.
