| September's TJX Outstanding Volunteer Award Recipient: Chup Chiu | Chup
Chiu, a student at Boston Latin Academy, has been a volunteer at the Youth Center since 2007. Chup is a
positive role model for younger members and always helps out when he is at
BCNC. This past summer, he volunteered
as a member of the Healthy Eats Team, to educate his peers about healthy
eating. In addition, he volunteers in the
staff office and most recently at the Oak Street Fair. He is one of our outstanding youth!

| Support after school programs for children
|

Luis
attends BCNC's After School program and his mother shares: "The dedicated
staff has been like a family to Luis and me. The staff were instrumental
in bolstering his study skills and increasing his
self-confidence. This is a quality program and I highly
recommend it to other parents." This
past Spring, the US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan recognized BCNC for
being a model of excellence for its work with families and its partnership with
the Josiah Quincy Elementary School! BCNC's program is a success because we meet regularly with the principal,
teachers and parents to bridge the classroom, after school and their home. Make a donation today and give to a
program that is a leader in working with families.
