The Norwegian live action short film TUBA ATLANTIC , directed by Hallvar Witzø, is nominated for this year's Academy Award. The film is included in the ShortsHD/ Magnolia Pictures theatrical release of the Oscar-nominated short films opening in theatres around the country starting on February 10.

In Los Angeles and Orange County the film will open Friday, February 10 at Landmark's Nuart Theatre, West LA and in Orange County at Regency Theatres' South Coast Village Plaza, Santa Ana.  On February 24, the nominated animation short films will open at Laemmle's Town Center 5, Encino; Laemmle's Pasadena Playhouse 7, Pasadena.
