Greetings!

Celebrate this magical time of year in Baltimore with us!  Rich in history, the 1840s Carrollton Inn celebrates the life of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, whose historic winter home, the Carroll Mansion, neighbors the bed and breakfast.  Carroll was one of the wealthiest men in America during his lifetime and the only Catholic and longest-lived signer of the Declaration of Independence.  The name for each room and suite at the Inn was inspired by an aspect of his life.  A descendant of Irish rebels, we invite you to celebrate his heritage at the 1840s Carrollton Inn this Saint Patrick's Day!

An Enchanted Irish Weekend at the Inn

Want to be really green this St. Patrick's Day?  Why not stay with us and walk to Baltimore's annual Saint Patrick's Day parade?  We are only steps away from Pratt Street and Market Place.  (Parade route begins in Mt. Vernon, travels down Charles Street to Pratt and ends at Market Place).  Really feeling energized?  Head out early and participate in the Shamrock 5K with hundreds of spectators cheering you on!

After enjoying the day's festivities, wander back to the Inn for a cup of Irish tea and a slice of cake or stroll down President Street to the James Joyce Irish Pub and enjoy a pint of Guinness with your corned beef and cabbage.  Slainte!

Guests of 1840s Carrollton Inn enjoy:
  • A tasty Irish-American breakfast served on parade day (Sunday morning, March 14th) with festive Irish music in the background and a bit 'o green sprinkled in by the leprechauns for luck!
  • Early check-in on Sunday, March 14th (1 p.m., in time to make your way to the parade route before step off at 2 p.m.)
  • Or stay with us Saturday, March 13th with check-out by 11 a.m. and we will store your bags until after the parade and festivities.
Room Rates:  $175 - $375 per night
