Wedding Couples Opt for Intimate Elegance with Romantic Elopements
elopement garden

With wedding season upon us, our romantic gardens and antique-adorned public rooms are buzzing with excitement this month.  Not only are we hosting lavish ceremonies and receptions each and every weekend, we are also welcoming countless couples retreating to the Mansion for intimate elopement ceremonies.  Several options are available for affairs as simple as bride, groom and minister or up to twelve guests with photography, dinner reservations and a romance package.  A simple and sweet elopement ceremony is just $500 in addition to the cost of a room.  B&B room reservations are required to book an elopement package.  The all-inclusive romantic elopement is $1600. Couples may choose from a charming private shade garden ideal for small ceremonies or a fireside setting in one of the public rooms.

Debating between an extravagant event and courthouse nuptials?  Consider a romantic elopement at Gramercy or the 1840s Carrollton Inn instead.  Celebrating a special anniversary?  Vow renewal packages also available.

Farm Fresh - Koinonia Organic Herbs
farm

Farm season is now in full swing!  Gramercy Mansion is the proud home to Koinonia Organic Farm, supplying fresh locally-grown organic herbs to grocers including Giant's warehouse, Whole Foods and Eddie's markets.

A great big welcome back to our family of farm workers!  As our farm business continues to expand, we're considering opening a farm stand at the bottom of Gramercy's driveway off of Greenspring Valley Road.  The farm stand would specialize in local organic herbs, produce and possibly hand-made items by local artisans.  We would love your feedback... what items would you like to see available?  Any suggestions for marketing or advertising? Would you visit our farm stand? Click here to e-mail us your thoughts.

A poem by innkeeper Bill Duffy:

It is the month of June,
The month of leaves and roses
When pleasant sights salute the eyes,
And pleasant scents the noses.

We hope you'll join us this month to take in the sights and scents of summer at Gramercy!

Sincerely,

Jennifer
