Summer 2011- Lost
Ancient Secrets, Modern
Summer 2011 was an amazing adventure for Baylor University’s Mayborn Museum. The season of
family-friendly education kicked off with the opening of Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern
Science. Supported by a Thursday night film series and eight Experience Egypt Wednesdays,
our visitors engaged and explored the summer activities, games and crafts created by our
amazing education facilitators.
|Thanks to our wonderful volunteers of
all ages the museum “danced” with exciting learning opportunities for our visitors throughout
the entire summer.
To wrap up the season and the exhibit, our enormously popular Free Sunday Series will give
visitors one last opportunity to experience Lost Egypt for free on September 4.
We would like to thank all of our Museletter subscribers, visitors, members, volunteers,
students, sponsors and donors for making Summer 2011 such a success.
