special event

The Mayborn is proud to host Baylor's Japanese Student Association to celebrate the new season with a Japanese Spring Festival on April 12 from 10:30 am to 3 pm. The Spring Festival is also known as the "Sakura" Festival, taking its name from the Japanese word for cherry blossoms.

These colorful flowers are a symbol of the temporary nature of life in the Japanese culture and are celebrated as a sign of spring in festivals around the world. Click here for more information.

Join Rick Strot, Allen Reeves Ware and the Mayborn Puppeteers as they present "The Little Pig in the Big Brick House" in the SBC Theater on Saturday, April 19. This production is a retelling of the old English children's story. There will be two opportunities to catch this entertaining show. The first begins at 10:30 am and the second begins at 2:30 pm. Fun for all ages!
