Our featured book for January is Bones: A Forensic Detective’s Casebook, by Douglas Ubelaker. A noted forensic anthropologist and curator of anthropology at the Smithsonian Institute, Ubelaker has aided FBI and police investigations for many years. His book explores methods used in the field for solving mysteries that lack clues aside from a few bones. Ubelaker’s description of real cases explains how experts can determine facts about the victim and the circumstances surrounding their death. Join our discussion Thursday, January 17 at 6:30 pm.
