What was it like before you came in to see us?
10 years ago I was told I had polycystic ovarian syndrome and that I basically had to live with terribly awful periods every month, end of story. I'm only in my 20's now and some doctors even told me I might need to have my ovaries removed before I'm 30!
How is it now?
I've only just begun and after 10 years of agony I don't dread my period (and neither does my boyfriend, family, or co-workers). I have very little pain and almost no crazy mood swings!

What was it like before you came in to see us?
I was extremely tired all the time. I'd wake up and be ready to go back to sleep two hours later. Also, I was experiencing some heart racing and palpitations, which was very scary. I had a lot of anxiety and occasional panic attacks.
How is it now?
Now instead of my heart troubling me three or four times daily it's gone down to about once or twice a month (and still improving). I'm not tired any more. At least not when I shouldn't be and the nervousness is a lot better. It only took six weeks to improve this much! I totally anticipate a full recovery very soon. Thank you.
