Use these Healthy Holiday Recipes & Ideas to create delicious meals everyone can enjoy.
Healthy Holiday Meals are NOT a Mission Impossible
During the holidays our eating habits often go a little (or a lot) astray. Sometimes it seems impossible to keep your health goals on track and maintain your good eating habits when temptation is at every turn.
Set Some Limits
The key to this is to first limit the temptations by making sure you've got plenty of healthy alternatives and second don't let a "bite" of pie give you an excuse to add a plate of stuffing and sugared yams. Eat the bite and be satisfied.
You're sure to find some you want to try and it'll open up your own ideas to creating healthy recipes of your own. Really, when you eat healthy, real food and learn the basics of nutrition your choices are only limited by your creativity. There are a lot more flavorful things than sugar and flour.
One of the most common medications I see prescribed to women ages 35 and up is Synthroid.
This medication is prescribed to treat underactive thyroid, also called hypothyroidism.
Synthroid is a synthetic (man made) substance created to mimic a hormone naturally produced by the thyroid.
Synthroid is very difficult to clinically manage in patients because a very slight difference in amount can change it from being safe or "therapeutic" to being extremely toxic.
