| The Colon Cleanse |
One of our intrepid patients decided to do a colon cleanse. He had been through colonics and apple fasts and supplements with no improvement in his specific health condition. He had great results from cleaning out his colon with the "Blessed Herbs Colon Cleanse". He eliminated 12 feet of "old stuff" from his colon and lost ten pounds over the course of the 8 day program.
I decided to see how it would work for me. Sure enough, I eliminated 20 feet of old stuff. What's the old stuff? It's the mucoid plaquing that dries and sticks to the inside of the intestinal wall. It accumulates over years and decades and this is the only program I have seen that pulls it out. Everyone beyond the teenage years has it.
During the first three days, food intake is reduced. You consume more water, some fiber powder mixed with apple juice and start taking an herb to ensure elimination. The last five days, you consume the apple juice, fiber powder and water every three hours. There is no food consumption during these five days.
It may sound dramatic but don't worry, you do not get hungry. There is also virtually no cramping , bloating or gas. Your blood sugar stays up due to the apple juice and the fiber expands to keep you feeling full. Your elimination is normal. There is no "running to the bathroom" or ten trips to the bathroom a day. It is manageable and extremely effective.
I still worked a full schedule at the office with no drop in energy. On the fifth day of no food, I worked outside in the yard all day, making sure I still followed the program. There was no drop in energy or cloudy thinking. I was actually feeling very good.
If you always feel like your large intestine is full, have incomplete elimination, have eaten the standard American diet for over five years or just want to be sure you are clean, this is the program for you. If colon cancer runs in the family or if you have ever had polyps or other intestinal problems, you should do this too.
