Asthma, Acid Reflux, Weak Immunity and Diabetes resolved ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- M.C. (11-04-04) Before my first visit, I suffered
from severe asthma, weak immune system, acid
reflux, and type II diabetes. I could barely walk into
work in the morning without having to stop and
catch my breath. With two school age children, I
had a cold at least once per month and struggled to
get back to some form of health afterwards before I
would come down with another cold. I was not able
to eat anything but bland food for 13 years. I
worked with my doctor for three years to regain my
health, only getting more and more prescriptions to
take every day. Frustration was setting in quickly
and my health kept declining.
Eventually a friend suggested I come to see Dr. Schmidt. Within the first two weeks of his program, walking up the front stairs to the building where I worked wasn't as much of a task. Shortly after, I began running again. What I have most noticed, is I haven't caught a cold in six months. I am off of all my prescriptions (including simple allergy medicine) and haven't needed them since. I no longer worry about spicy foods. The real test was a glucose tolerance test I had a couple weeks ago. The results came back today. All blood sugar levels are normal. I am no longer considered a diabetic. Things may change as I get older and I will not hesitate to see Dr. Schmidt again. For now I am going to enjoy good health

Lung Mass and Knee Pain Gone. Surgery Avoided. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- D. B. (11-14-04) I had been experiencing pain and
weakness in my knee joint due to arthritis in an
injured knee, and I was frequently tired and taking
many naps. In the summer of 2003, I had shortness
of breath. A doctor prescribed me another high
blood pressure medication which made for a total of
4 high blood pressure medications. In the fall of
2003, I came down with pneumonia (followed by
shortness of breath and more asthma symptoms) and
was off work for three weeks. A chest x-ray and CT
scan revealed a lump on a lower lobe of my lung, and
I was sent to a pulmonary specialist who did a
camera scope surgery and wanted to remove part of
my lung. I did not want surgery, and I was easily
getting emotionally upset, so I changed doctors.
After being referred to and treated by Dr. Schmidt in the fall of 2003, my knee is feeling good and stronger with no pain, I have a lot more energy and no longer need naps. In addition, a repeated CT scan within a year showed that the lung mass was gone. I am feeling more calm and relaxed now.

Acid Reflux, Arthritis, Asthma and Bladder Weakness Handled ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
- A. B. (09-22-04) I had severe reflux, a very
limited diet, chronic discomfort and took Prilosec
daily. I was also diagnosed with osteoarthritis
manifested in my ankles, knees and fingers. I was
taking several prescribed medications and had
developed allergies to other drugs. I was also having
some bladder problems and had three collagen
implants. The medical doctors said I had asthma,
too!
After treatment with Dr. Schmidt, I have no reflux! I'm in the process of reintroducing foods into my diet that I haven't eaten in years, and do not take Prilosec or any medication/supplements for this. I have no arthritis in my ankles or knees, and only a little in two fingers. I am down to taking two prescription medications and in the process of phasing off of one now (I'm at half-strength for the first time in 40+ years). I haven't taken any new drugs to know about potential allergic reactions because I haven't been sick! My bladder is back to normal - perfect, like a kid again! There is no sign of asthma. |
