What the FDA thinks of good infant formula ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A friend of mine who is also a chiropractor and does
a lot on nutrition put together a recipe for infant
formula a few years ago. He used all approved
nutritional ingredients like enzymes, friendly
bacteria for the intestines, good fat and good
protein. He called it "Better Than Formula" and
started selling it. Success stories started coming
in. It was a great product, improving the health of
babies tremendously. It was better than regular
formula since one of the main ingredients in regular
formula is corn syrup solids (sugar).
One day, after two years of selling it, he got a call from the warehouse where he was storing about $6,000 worth of product. The FDA had come in, roped off the formula and told him if he touches it, even a canister, he would be going to jail. They destroyed the formula. That's the end of the story. The lesson is the FDA is a watchdog for the pharmaceutical companies and other large food manufacturers. The good news is there is still access to good formula. You just have to make it |

As I mentioned in the last article, I am giving out
free first visits until the end of this week (8-6).
This includes the second visit Report of Findings.
If you accept treatment after the Report of
Findings, then it's the usual $40 for the second
visit. All you need to do is call 734-302-7575 to
set up the initial visit.
When I was 28 years old, I determined the success rate my patients and I had with their health problems. It was about 67%. I thought that was pretty good considering my teachers were at 90-92% success. Two years later, I was at a lecture given at The University of Michigan Hospital. The doctor who spoke said that conventional medicine has a 5-8% success rate. Sitting in my chair, I was both surprised and not surprised at the same time. My success rate has improved since those early days, especially since I have using Nutritional Response Testing. A technique that has over 90% success. |
