We all know our state is in financial trouble but we can't let that stop the progress of improving education; our children can't afford to wait.  The path to change lies before us and Advocacy Day provides us with an important platform to discuss and engage with our leaders and experts on the forefront of important budget and education issues.

Our theme is particularly relevant this year.  Multiple years of budget cuts to schools and children's services have shown us that "waiting" is not giving us solutions; we need to take the lead and demand progress even in these challenging times.  Both education and budget reform are possible if we all work for realistic, pragmatic approaches to solving the big problems.  It is important that we fill the room at the Sacramento Convention Center with hundreds of PTA members and other concerned citizens ready to learn about the issues and make their voices heard.

YOUR PRESENCE MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

The more people who attend, the stronger the message we will deliver.

A strong public education system is vital to California's well-being in a global society.  Strengthening the public schools requires that all Californians work together and provide support for our public school system.  The priority of California must be children and education.
