12th Annual Joy of Education (JOE) Dinner 
Jack Helfman: A Road to Remembrance

Keep with the College Counseling Department with their College Counseling Department Newsletter. The registration deadline for this year's first SAT and ACT Test dates are coming up quickly! It's also time to start thinking about colleges. Representatives from colleges across the state and U.S. will be on campus throughout September. Check the newsletter for the upcoming schedule and don't miss your chance to speak with the college representative of your choice!

Library Volunteers Needed Aditi        

 

Hello, my name is Aditi Rao and I am the new Technology Resource Specialist for the Upper School. In addition to helping the faculty integrate technology in their lessons, I will be overseeing the library. As you may have noticed, this past week the library has occasionally been closed during periods when I've been teaching or helping faculty. So, in order to ensure that the library isn't closed during the day, we are recruiting parent volunteers to oversee basic library functions when I'm unavailable. If you are interested in helping, please email me at arao@emeryweiner.org.  

 

Rest assured, the library is an important part of our school and we will work to ensure that it remains open so students and faculty can utilize its resources. Please bear with us as we work to find and train parent volunteers.

On behalf of the EWS Parents' Association, we would like to welcome everyone back to school! So much work has already begun in order to make this year a huge success, and we would like to thank the following folks for their contributions thus far.   

  

We also had a very busy summer in purchasing Smart Boards for more of our  classrooms. These interactive white boards help to incorporate technology into the classroom seamlessly and effectively.
