Thank you EWS Parents!OC Parents

Thank you to the many EWS parents who packed the Black
Box Theater this morning to watch a live feed of the 2012 Opening Ceremonies.

This year's theme is based on the dual meaning of Olam - world and hidden; many wonderful things in life are not readily apparent and one should look deeper than just at the surface. Head of School Stuart J. Dow summed it up with the slogan, Don't Hide, Do Seek, and encouraged students to look not only deeper at the world, but also themselves, to find all hidden potential.

Special thanks go out to our incredible guests this morning, including
Joy "Sugar Joiko" on piano and vocals, and Lanny Kibbey for the dazzling magic show.

Middle School PE

Students will be required to dress out starting on Monday the 20th. For those students who have PE uniforms on backorder, Coaches Wakefield and Boudreaux request that navy shorts and an EWS spirit shirt be worn in the interim. Their PE shirt and shorts, however, may not be what they are wearing to school that day (for cleanliness). Students must have their uniforms here or ordered by next Friday, August 24th. If you have any questions, please contact your child's gym teacher.
