The Lincoln Heritage Council is excited to honor Scouters who have given so much of their time, talent, and treasure to our movement. The Council will recognize Silver Beaver and Venturing Leadership Award Recipients at our annual Adult Recognition Ceremony (Silver Beaver Dinner) on February 11, 2012. Women of Wonder NRA Training
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)BSA System Outages Will Affect Online Resources On most weekends during January through March, the availability of BSA systems will be affected as the National Council facilitates multiple council mergers, consolidations, and the creation of a new council structure in Michigan. If you are a BSA volunteer using MyScouting, you will be unable during these hours to upload membership information to begin processing Internet Advancement and Internet Rechartering. Volunteers may continue online by loading the unit information prior to 9 p.m. CST on Fridays. Submittals may still occur if the membership information was uploaded. Dates and Maintenance Hours (all times are CST): Feb. 17-18: 9 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday Feb. 24-25: 9 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday March 16-17: 9 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday March 23-24: 9 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Saturday

Volunteers needed for Adventure Camp
The Spring Adventure Camp will be held Friday, April 20th and April 23rd - 27th from 9 am to 2 pm at Camp Crooked Creek. This camp is for students in our Scouting Unlimited program that are mentally, physically, emotionally, learning and behaviorally challenged. The campers are given the opportunity to participate in boating, fishing, rafting, canoeing, archery, marksmanship, arts and crafts, music and cooking. No experience is needed!!! Each station has a trained leader that will give you direction. You can attend for one day or the entire six days! Whatever will be most convenient to your schedule. We also welcome companies, church groups, and retirement organizations who are looking for a way to give back to the community! WE PROMISE THIS WILL BE THE BEST CAMPING EXPERIENCE YOU'VE HAD!! The annual Camp Card sale is an opportunity for youth to earn money to pay for their summer camping fees and equipment by selling a value enhanced camp card. Each camp card contains discount offers from different vendors that are good during the 2012 calendar year.
