Despite ongoing talks, Walgreens will leave Anthem's in-network service area, effective January 1, 2012. Anthem will send out one more final notice of the change to employers and members who have used Walgreens to fill a prescription in the last 90-days. 

 

Anthem's final notice, along with this notification from our office, is to urge all members who currently use Walgreens to take immediate action and move your prescriptions away from Walgreens and into an in-network pharmacy before December 31, 2011.
