We are pleased to feature Kyle Bright Beginnings at Word of Life Church for our Member Monday spotlight this week! In February, we had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Silva (from their Buda location) at their ribbon cutting, honoring their expansion to the Kyle area. Housed within the prominent and impressive Word of Life Church, their facility is adorned with pictures of the children on one side, as well as instructional posters and books all along its reading section. The large space is "sectioned" off by topic, such as language/alphabet, reading, or arts & crafts, and prominently displays the work the kids have done.
Each teacher at the center drafts their own vigorous lesson plan. Most impressively, they encourage the blurring of communication barriers between children and adults, by teaching them Sign Language, Spanish, and English. The Bright Beginnings program accepts children as young as 6 weeks old (at their Buda location) for daycare purposes, but mostly serves as an after-school program.
