We are looking for volunteers who are available for 2-4 hours during the weekends.

This week we are featuring Plum Creek Golf Club, a prime location for your next outing or event! It's Plum Creek Golf Course is located on more than 200 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country terrain. "This fun, championship golf course features 18 holes that take advantage of the acreage. Not the usual back-and forth layout, Plum Creek was designed where no two fairways touch - a feature that exudes the wonderful peace some golf courses lack."
Plum Creek also boasts a Banquet Room dubbed the Plum Creek Pavilion, which you can rent out for pleasure, business, brunch, a luncheon, or for dinner. It can accommodate up to 300+ guests, and the rental includes tables, chairs, and linens. You can also take advantage of the acreage and the lush green landscape of the Plum Creek Golf Course by hosting a private, corporate, or charity tournament event on its grounds. Services for tournaments include shot-gun starts, hole challenges, handicapping, and a special events room.
If you're new to golf, though, and aren't quite sure where to start, feel free to pick up some lessons from Brian Marini, their head golf professional, who can teach you the basics about the physical and mental aspects of the game. It's never too late to improve your game!

Kyle Annual Classic Committee Seeking Volunteers
By hosting fundraising events such as the Golf Classic, the Kyle Area Chamber is able to raise operating funds and provide unique events for our members while allowing them to receive various levels of exposure through different sponsorship opportunities. This year's golf tournament will be taking place on September 13th & 14th. We are currently seeking volunteers to help organize and plan our 2012 Kyle Annual Classic.
