Ray Hernandez, IOM was named as the advisor of the fourth year class at West Institute 2011. Hernandez who is the Executive Director of the Kyle Area Chamber was also selected the co-keynote speaker at West Institute 2010 where he earned his certification of IOM. West Institute is a certification of the United States Chamber of Commerce.

Believe it or not, the time has come to start preparing the 2011 North Hays County Community Expo which will take place at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center on October 6, 2011 from 3pm-7pm. Once again this event will be a combined effort of the Kyle and Buda Area Chambers of Commerce.

Skin Cancer Education and Screening
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer and if detected early most skin cancers can be successfully treated. Seton Healthcare Family is offering a free skin cancer educational and screening opportunity to Central Texans to increase awareness. Participants will learn the signs and symptoms of skin cancer and will have a chance to be screened by the Director of UT Medical Branch Dermatology, Dr. Jason Reichenberg. He is board certified through the American Academy of Dermatology. Seton's Skin Cancer Education and Screening is free to the general public, but space is limited so register today.
