Who Is Your Role Model?
 Students in Betty Ervin's Studio Art class at Wood River High School responded to that question with drawings of their role models. Subjects ranged from parents and friends to historical figures. The drawings are installed in the windows of the old North and Company store for the next several weeks. Elementary Students Learn about Democratic Process
 The 5th grade class at Hailey Elementary School received a note from the 2012 Blaine County GOP Presidential Caucus Committee thanking the students for collecting ballots during the Super Tuesday Caucus on March 6, 2012. "The [students] reminded voters of the importance of their votes; for present day and future generations," wrote Caucus Chair Richard Jesinger. For more information, click here.

Senior Project Focuses on Helping Other Students
 Silver Creek High School student Taylor Jameson is launching her Senior Project, she writes, "I will put together a series of fundraising activities to raise money for a teen shelter that Mr. Bohl is hoping to open. The teen shelter will be for teens that have nowhere else to go, and when the teens enter the shelter Mr. Bohl will provide honest answers for them. I plan on learning the skills of putting a fundraiser together, and I also plan on being completely involved with Mr. Bohl's visions for his shelter." For more information, click here.
