Student Shows Documentary
 Wood River High School Senior Tadd Mansfield created a documentary called "Days with Marley," about one of Blaine County School District's most heartwarming students, Marley Chapman. Tadd has been invited to show his documentary and talk about his Senior Project at the Idaho Skills for Life conference, an annual gathering of students and teachers dedicated to helping students make the transition from school to life. There will be a free public showing of Tadd's documentary next Tuesday, February 7 at 6 p.m. at Wood River High School's Distance Learning Lab. To view a trailer of the movie, click here.

Volunteers Wanted for Advisory Committee

Learn About International Baccalaureate
 The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme is being implemented in grades 6-10 at Wood River Middle School and Wood River High School. IB MYP embraces a student-centered approach to teaching and learning, with the aim of developing students who are Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced, and Reflective, this is called the Learner Profile. The trait for January was Risk-Taker. Watch this You Tube video to see how staff were Risk-Takers during a student assembly before the basketball game with Carey.
