Students Inspired by Acclaimed Author
Wood River Middle School students met acclaimed author Lois Lowry earlier this month. Author of The Giver and other books, Lowry spoke to the entire WRMS student body and held a book signing for students prior to the reading. Students on Stage
Under the guidance of teacher Karl Nordstrom, THE BIG DAY will be presented by the Wood River High School Drama Department at the Liberty Theater beginning Wednesday, November 16 through Saturday, November 19 at 7:00 p.m. THE BIG DAY is a series of sketches by Pat Cook. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.

BCSD Board of Trustees Special Workshop on Drug and Alcohol Awareness
The public is invited to attend the BCSD Board of Trustees Special Workshop this Friday, November 18, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the District Office, 118 W. Bullion, Hailey. Terry Basolo, Executive Director of the Blaine County Drug Coalition, will present data on teen drug and alcohol use in Blaine County. The meeting will be webcast.

Parent Math Night
