How are we preparing our children for success in the 21st Century? Find out about our Math Curriculum on Monday, October 10
After a two-year process involving over 38 teachers, and multiple opportunities for public input, the Blaine County School Board approved a math curriculum and the purchase of accompanying text books and materials. The math curriculum fits with nationally mandated Common Core State Standards, as well as the state mandated Mathematical Thinking Initiative. It also supports our communities' desires for rigorous academic programs for every student. We are available to address any concerns and provide support for parents or teachers. Find out more at our Parent Math meetings on Monday, October 10. 8:15 am at Hemingway Elementary and 1:15 at Hailey Elementary. Teachers and staff involved in the math adoption process will be available to answer your questions. Parents are encouraged to attend any meeting that fits their schedule.
