Wood River High School Welcomes International Visitors

Among them, Dr. Anil Bisen, Dr. Dipti Kaur and Srijat Mishra visited Wood River High School with Assistant Superintendent John Blackman and Curriculum Director Patricia McLean, who are members of Hailey Rotary. From Odisha, India, the visitors have spent time touring other schools throughout Idaho, including Idaho State University, Boise State University and the College of Southern Idaho. Wood River High School Chess Club Competes Nationally 
  
Chess Team ImageThe Wood River High School Chess team travelled to Nashville, TN to compete in the National High School Chess Championship. The event attracted 1200 players and 330 teams from across the nation. This was the first time a team from Idaho competed in the tournament. 2011-2012 School Calendar Approved 

At the May 10th School Board meeting the 2011-2012 school year was approved the Board of Trustees.  The first day of school for most students will be Tuesday September 6th (10-12th graders at WRHS will start September 7th).
