May 2011

Greetings!

Home Run PictureWhile the weather was questionable, there was no question about the great turn-out for this year's Home Run for the Homeless with over 350 in attendance!  We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who donated, participated, or volunteered at Neighborhood House Association's 5th Annual Home Run for the Homeless!  It was our first year at Crusher's Stadium and we had many positive comments on the new venue and course.  Over $46,000 has been raised.  Donations are still being accepted at www.walk2011.com.  Many thanks to all our sponsors including Spacebound, Sam's Club/Walmart Foundation, Mercy, Mehco, and Nordson.

Thank You for Your Support!

NHA would not be able to provide the services we do it it was not for the generosity of foundations and companies that support our mission.  We would like to thank the following foundations for their support 2011:
  • The City of Oberlin
  • Community West Foundation
  • Key Bank Foundation
  • Stocker Foundation

In addition, we would like to recognize Lowe's/Oak Point location for their large donation of cabinetry that will be used at the various NHA sites, including The Haven Center.
