Your time is valuable and now that the New Year has begun, you'll have even more to do with less time to do it in. This document offers several tips to help you navigate through Eggers Online with ease. The following questions are answered in the available download.

| Raceways have moved
We are no longer hiding the raceway selection field in the Misc Hardware section and have recently moved it to center stage.
A couple things to note:
- When entering orders, you will now pick the raceway diameter. We have two options available: 3/8" and 3/4". Remember, 3/8" is required for rated doors and either is available for non-rated doors.
- You will then choose which hinge you want the raceway to start.
- The 3/4" was added to accommodate Molex connectors being pulled through the door. We will be adding lock templates to a validation list for those that require the 3/4" raceway - example: ML20900 series. You will still need to pick the raceway as with all electrified hardware.

 Upgrading your Computer this Year?
For Eggers Online to run smoothly a few things will need to be checked when you upgrade your system. All instructions below are outlined clearly in the available download.
- Compatibility View - Eggers Online runs best using Internet Explorer 7. If you are using IE 8 or 9 you will need to view EOL in compatibility view. Eggers Online must be accessed via Internet Explorer and will not run properly with Google Chrome or Firefox.
- Pop-Up Blockers - These can cause several problems when using EOL and they not only appear on your system but they also come with any special toolbars you may add such as Yahoo, Google, or AOL. Please disable those toolbars and always allow pop-ups from Eggers Online.
- Trusted Sites - Adding Eggers Online to your Internet Explorer trusted sites helps to ensure the software will run efficiently on your computer.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader - The new Adobe Acrobat X is added with most upgrades and this new version is not compatible with Eggers Online. You will no longer be able to print quotes/orders with Acrobat X and will need to have a version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Pause and Give Us a Call
There are a few times when you are entering an order in which you simply must give us a call. We are more than happy to provide assistance at any time you are utilizing Eggers Online but these cases require you to call us first before submitting your order.
- Your pricing doesn't match the quote you have in hand for the project.
- You haven't received your finish sample yet, therefore, do not have an approved sample number to enter into the order.
- Your order requires special order veneer, vision panels, glass, etc.
- You have run into a problem when entering specific hardware. Call us instead of inputting notes and submitting.
Calling us will save you time. In these cases, if you submit without taking care of these minor roadblocks, you will end up having to copy the order, make the changes and then re-submit.

Print it out and take a look at it each time you submit an order. We know that time does lapse between each order you submit and it is easy to forget the details.

Eggers Online is available for quoting Flush, Stile and Rail and Jambs. Order entry is only available for flush doors.
