- Download the Eggers Online Tips for Success which provides instructions and examples of various Internet Explorer settings that should be checked if you are experiencing any problems using Eggers Online.
- Be sure to carefully check your order acknowledgements to make sure everything transferred correctly for all orders submitted online.

 One Project per Order Please...This is especially important when you are placing an order for FSC or LEED products. These orders need to be kept separate for tracking and reporting purposes. Please avoid combining any green products with standard products. Thank you. |

Order Processing Details...
In Eggers Online, all required fields are in a bold red font. As you begin entering an order you will notice that the only two fields that are in bold red are the Customer and Quote Name fields.
You are not required to enter your purchase order number here. The purchase order number along with the shipping address will be asked of you when you are ready to submit your order.
Remember also...
A 24-hour shipping contact name and phone number are required with each Eggers Online order. After selecting the customer, entering the order name and making note of the order ID number, the next step for each order would be to document the shipping contact information under the Comments tab. An email address is not necessary, only a phone number.

Rapid Options... A quick way to enter your information
At the beginning of each order or quote you will find the Rapid Item Entry selections. Simply choose your item, enter the quantity and proceed through the choices. If you click in the Door Type box you can then tab through the entire chart and make any selections that are applicable to your job. The more choices you make here, the more time you will save in the detail of the line item.
Keyboard shortcuts also come in handy with this chart:
- Use the arrow down key to choose the first choice in a drop down field. For example: the most common choices for face match and assembly are book and run. You can use the arrow down key for both of these fields to make these popular selections.
- Type a letter on your keyboard to quickly make a common selection. For example: typing P in the Core Type field will give you particle board and typing A in the Veneer grade field will give you A grade veneer.
- Default selections do not require choices: Eggers will default to your company location for ship zone, WDMA custom grade for Door Grade and Plastic Wrap for finished doors. If these are acceptable choices for your quote/order then no selection is necessary.
Other fields not often used:
- Combo/Multi-Phase Projects: The second row of the chart contains fields applicable for multi-phase projects that will require multiple shipments.
- Previous Order Number: This field is to be used whenever you are placing an order for additional doors to a project that was shipped within the last year. Simply enter the previous order number to receive a price reduction on setup costs.
