Greetings!

I hope your semester is off to a great start! This week Student Services is busy helping students claim lockers and registering student orgs. Next week there will be a Student Org Faire, so you can sign up to be a member of any organizations that interest you.

As always, if you would like to include an announcement in the Weekly, please submit it to studentservices@uchastings.edu by Thursday at noon. If you have an event you want publicized, you must use the Event Publicity Form and submit that information by Tuesday at 5:00pm.

The Class of 2014 is off to an energetic start with 166 students having signed the Pro Bono Pledge (see chart above). It is not too late to submit Pledges, they can be dropped off to Rm. 350 of the Tower or emailed to jacksoja@uchastings.edu.

Classes of 2013 and 2012 - if you have pro bono hours/time sheets that you have not submitted or would like to know the number of hours you have completed, email jacksoja@uchastings.edu.

News: The weekly "Announcements" will be distributed every Monday at noon. If you have a message you would like to see included, please submit the text to studentservices@uchastings.edu by the Thursday prior at noon. Include a very short blurb and a link to where more information can be found. Note that your message may be edited for brevity and clarity.
Events: A weekly "Happenings" email is scheduled to send every Thursday at noon. For inclusion of your event, please fill out the events form and include a link (if you have one) by the prior Tuesday at noon.
Social Media: If you have a message that you would like to introduce to the UC Hastings community through social media, simply post it on the school's official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/uchastings) or reference the Twitter handle @uchastingslaw. Pictures and video from your events are doubly welcome!
Digital Display: If you are designing a poster for your event and would like to have that image shown through the digital display in the lobby of 200 McAllister (Mary Kay Kane Hall), email communications@uchastings.edu.
