January 7 - February 4, 2012
Art Show at Strathmore, Bethesda, Maryland
"Stepping Over The Line"
Three of my paintings will be included in an art show at Strathmore, just outside of Washington, DC from January 7 through February 4. North American Watercolor Artists, consisting of Nicholas Simmons, Keiko Tanabe, Mark Mehaffey, Carol Carter, Thomas Schaller and myself, will showcase the watercolor medium as a contemporary art form. The artist's reception is Sunday, January 8. All six artists will be attending, so if you happen to be in Washington DC this weekend, please come!

 For the second year, I will be participating in Maui Open Studios. The gala reception is February 4 at the Maui Tropical Plantation, and my open studio will be held at the Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center on Baldwin Avenue in Makawao February 18 & 19. Visit my website for more information. Yet another reason to visit Maui! I hope to see you there!

My first art festival of the season is:
I was an award winner at the 2011 Sausalito Art Festival, and as a result, I am automatically invited back for the 2012 festival. The Sausalito Art Festival is one of the most prestigious juried art festivals in the U.S., and is held Labor Day weekend every year. I hope to see you there!
