Our Goodbye and Our Gift to Judy

"I'm speechless!   Thanks for telling her story. I'm not sure how many of us on the "outside" could respond to our circumstances
 with such strength.

"The Walk to Prison and Beyond"

What are you doing right now

Can you take time to write a letter right now woman writing at table
to ask the Govenor of New York to grant Judy clemency?

After 32 years of Judy paying her debt for her crime in prison,
with no hope of parole,
it seems like a mere "dream" that this could happen...

That Judith Clark could walk free from the prison walls and the barb wire and
into the arms of her grown daughter who has been dreaming and praying and hoping for so many years
..since she was a very little girl ... that this day might come.

Here is a sample letter:

Dear Governor Cuomo,
I have learned about Judith Clark and I wholeheartedly support her clemency. I think a strong Governor, and a strong presidential candidate, shows mercy when, as here, it is warranted.

Sincerely yours,
YOUR NAME
YOUR FULL ADDRESS

Everyone should mail their letters individually to the Governor at:

Hon. Andrew Cuomo
Governor of the State of New York
 State Capitol
Albany, NY 12224

and send an email copy to <letters@judithclark.org>

OR
I don't know if you are like me, but later is so very good intentioned, but often never comes.
Just even consder writing a short e-mail note now  (remember to put your full name and address at the bottom)and send it off by email to me
and I will mail it to the Governor.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW?

Can you write a letter on behalf of Judy?

#7 How Do We Say Goodbye? The time for writing is NOW. You will be blessed as you write and so will Judy!

Greetings!

So many of you have written to me about how Judy has touched your lives

Now there is a chance to respond to what you know and love in your heart about her.

Judith is now nearly 62 years old and not eligible for parole until 2056...a life sentence.

Most of those who faced charges were either tried in Federal court and received shorter sentences, pled guilty, or became government informants.

Judy never carried a gun, but she is already in prison longer than two of the three shooters.  The last of those personally responsible for the deaths will be out in a few years.

To me, Judith Clark is deserving of a Pardon Judy Clark Today

I'm asking you to dream with me and encouraging you to also consider asking 20 people today (by email or in person) to also write a letter to the Governor on behalf of Judy.  Or maybe 5 people, or 1, or maybe your whole contact list...or your whole family. If you want me to send your friends the series of articles on Judy so they can know her better, I will be glad to do this.

Thank you for sharing this journey of "not forgetting Judy".  Look forward to hearing from you soon.
