A New Summer Series #1
The Walk to Prison and Beyond

Greetings!

I took a train from New York City to Bedford Hills, New York. I hailed a cab and asked the driver to take me to the Women's Correctional Facility. As I walked toward the Prison doors, I wondered if I would be turned away. After signing in, they allowed me to go through all of the series of barred and locked doors.

And then, I met Judy. I can't forget her and I want to introduce her to you.

She is a felon sentenced to 75 years in jail without a chance of parole. My walk to the prison was just a few weeks ago in May, 2012.

I will share about Judy over the next few weeks, the bad and the good...formal articles and my reflections. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts as we go along.

This newsletter, Simply and Beautifully Woman is dedicated to highlighting the simply beautiful women all around us that inspire us to be extraordinay in our ordinary life.  It is dedicated to looking at the day by day concerns that stop us in our tracks and finding the God-help that is always ready to transform them into "something beautiful for God".

I think that Judy Clark more than adequately

can be this for us this summer.

I've been so busy with my realestate work that writing has taken a back burner. But meeting Judy reminds me that:

"remembering those in prison"is not something for tomorrow, because tomorrow just might not come to make time to remember... to remember them.

Nice to talk to you!

I'll write again Suday.
