TCU Summer Interns Say Goodbye
Thank to a generous grant from Tommy Glenn with Essentia Financial, we were able to host six (6) interns this summer from the TCU - Neeley School of Business Entrepreneurship Center.
At the beginning of the summer, the interns gathered to make their pitch to our clients about their ability to serve as an intern for the summer. Our clients were able to review their resumes, as well.
Five of our clients and TECH Fort Worth selected one intern to work with. Below is a picture of the final gathering where the interns were able to share what they had learned.
Below are some comments from the interns' summaries of their experiences this summer:
- "The experience has dramatically shifted my perspective of entrepreneurship."
- "The hands-on involvement I was granted... proved to be one of (my) greatest work experiences..."
- "They trusted me and my work and did not scrutinize or discourage me, but rather made me feel like I was making a valuable contribution to the company."
- "I believe that for many students... this program will be a pivotal experience in their entrepreneurial careers."
- "Taking part in events like this one... (is an opportunity) that very few students experience."
- "I will always remember the impact that this program has had on my life and hope to honor it through creating and developing a successful business of my own in the future. "

Program Updates
TECH Fort Worth programs are designed to reach technology entrepreneurs at every stage: from concept to market.
Our clients participate in affordable, hands-on mentoring and coaching targeted at meeting them where they are, answering their questions, working through their challenges, and helping them make their vision a reality. (which means getting their product or service to market, because "technology doesn't commercialize itself."
