Jim Fuquay with the Fort Worth Star Telegram wrote an enlightening article about the University of North Texas Health Science Center, elaborating on the collaborative relationship with TECH Fort Worth. About halfway through the article, Fuquay says, "One avenue to more privately funded research could be the center's collaboration with Tech Fort Worth, a business incubator that has worked since 2008 to provide new health-related enterprises access to the center's laboratories and..." Technology Impact On The Local Economy: For the FY 2010-2011, TECH Fort Worth clients have had an economic impact on the local economy by helping to employ 198.9 FTE's (Full-time employees). In addition, TECH Fort Worth clients have had gross sales YTD in excess of SIX POINT THREE MILLION dollars! The total economic impact of TECH Fort Worth clients YTD is in excess of ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS.
